Fantastic eats! I didn’t take a picture of the meal, only the results. Great spot for westerners or anyone else who wants to chow down on cheap and cheerful Japanese food.

This is really wow place. Very tinny cafe. But with very very yummy and simple food with very affordable prices. Always long queues. Yes, agree, the best Japanese meals in UB. Also perhaps best and fastest service. There is no much choice. But even dont need. Perfect place for quick bite. There is no parking at all. And it is cash place only. But its worth.

Small but cozy place for me. What a pity they didn't have sushi to serve. Rate for the food 8.5/10. Price $$.

Such a great little spot. If you're in Ulaanbaatar, you'll most likely find yourself at the State Department Store at some point. Just down the road is this bakery/restaurant. It's one of my wife's favourites because of their baked goods. So, I had to try it. While I never had the opportunity to try their food beyond the baked goods, what I did have was incredible. 3 different cheesecakes and a piece of apple tart and all were delicious. Their Special Cheesecake was something I've never had before. It was unlike any cheesecake I've ever had and the topping was like a sweet cloud. Loved all of it.

We had a chicken & tomato cutlet and a pork cutlet, both of which were very well done! We enjoyed the food here and will return again 😉 price is reasonable. Long queue waiting to be seated too

It’s my one of favorite places. I like their udon noodles. So yummy!! U have to eat quickly like in Japan. Because the place has a little space and always people wait seats there. Owner is Japanese guy and it really feels like Japan atmosphere.

This place has real cult status in UB! For around 20k you get really good Japanese food and excellent cakes. Prepare for a long wait to be seated though. And once you sit, you better eat up and make space quickly for the next people in the queue. It is a real experience and I highly recommend it. But I can also understand the people that don't like the concept, hence my warning here. With the menu attached to this review, you can order via phone (Mongolian only) and cut your wait time in half.

If u want to try a Japanese version of UB. You should add it to ur list. It’s really busy during lunch time . The place is small and always crowded but u can always enjoy your time there . The prices are affordable and perfect quality. This restaurant is related to a big company so their resources are available and granted. The menu is small which makes it better .
